It was noticeable the moment I was ‘wheels up’ at London Luton Airport, and it was even more apparent now. I speculated upon it in my book Great Britain? The Secret Destiny of the British & Their Isles in 2015, and I had felt it for the first time in 2016, on a return trip from Norway, but now I could taste it.
